Xtend Barre Stick Classes utilize a dowel type apparatus and spring based resistance attached to the Xtend ballet barre. The workout, like Xtend Barre, is comprised of a cardio warm-up, an upper-body segment, lower-body segment, and abdominal focus. The workout draws upon the Xtend Barre fundamentals, chiseling every angle of the body in an intense cardio sculpting workout, but with the spring based resistance, the Xtend Barre stick class adds the challenge of Pilates stability, cardio conditioning, and core training.
The Xtend Barre Workout is a fast-paced, 55-minute full body immersion that fuses dance, Pilates and sculpting exercises at the ballet barre to give you a chiseled body – and fast! By using a series of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches, the Xtend system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from top to bottom, from inside out. The end result is a long and lean physique… without added bulk. Developed from a dance/Pilates background, the Xtend workout combines the amazing results of dance with the principles of strength and safety in Pilates.
